How to Enjoy Vegas For Free When a lot of people think of Vegas they envision the bottle service, getting lap dances, or eating at 5 star restaurants. Those are all amazing experiences - but they don’t come cheap. What happens when you lose all of your money at the tables?

When a lot of people think of Vegas they envision the bottle service, getting lap dances, or eating at 5 star restaurants. Those are all amazing experiences - but they don’t come cheap. What happens when you lose all of your money at the tables? Or even worst - you came with limited cash? Here are a few ways you can entertain yourself in Las Vegas for FREE.

The Bellagio Fountains
It’s a great view and water shows are scheduled for every 15 minutes in the evening, and every 30 minutes in the afternoon. As the cannons shoot hundreds of feet into the air, music plays and romance breezes through the atmosphere.

Wine Tasting
Yes, for FREE. Thursday nights Rock ‘N Roll Wine allows people to experience their extensive selection at a rotating list of locations. All you need to do is sign up in advance. Thank us later.

See a Volcano Eruption.
Just because it isn’t real, doesn’t make it any less exciting (we actually recommend it since it’s less dangerous). The Mirage Resort constructed a fire shooting, lava spewing volcano complete with adrenaline rushing sounds of an actual volcano. It’s set to music and the show takes place every 30 minutes at night.

Whiskey at Vom Fass
If you time your night correctly, you may even be able to get a nice buzz while on your trip. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm Vom Fass hosts The Whiskey Experience, which is an informal class where you can learn about (and taste!) different types of whiskey.

Enjoy the Scenery on a Hike
Take a breath of fresh air at the Red Rock Canyon. All you need are some comfortable boots and water. We’d recommend you go in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the desert heat.

Sake Mondays at Katsuya
More free drinks! Take advantage of the free samples Katsuya offers on the last Monday of every month - every Monday they also offer half priced bottles if you’re able to squeeze out the cash!

Take in the Fremont Street Experience
Downtown is always fun. Whether you head over to see the Viva Vision LED light show, check out some of the local bands or just end up watching the weirdos and wandering tourists - you’re guaranteed to have some good free fun on Fremont Street. If you’re there in the summer, you might even catch a free music show by an actual celebrity!

The Fall of Atlantis
It’s an animatronic show about statues who come to life, and their family drama. It may not sound too exciting but they have an amazing looking dragon which spits fire...just wait until the end!

Wildlife at the Flamingo
It’s basically a very small zoo with scenic views of exotic birds, turtles, and koi fish. Somehow they also found a way to fit in a waterfall with an island, complete with a collection of Chilean flamingos. For all of this to be on the grounds of a hotel, is pretty amazing.

Sip Wine at Private Cellar Thursdays
Although you need to RSVP for the experience, Hearthstone at the Rest Rock Resort offers Private Cellar events every Thursday night. Enjoy free pours from a featured winery and even expect a few appetizers and surprises from the chef to be passed around as well.

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
in the lobby of the Bellagio, The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens features rotating seasonal floral displays and is probably one of the most beautiful places to bring a date in Vegas.

Party at First Friday
This artsy block party is on the first Friday of every month. Check out the Downtown Arts District, see some amazing exhibits and hear some cool music.

Relive Rock History
Typical Hard Rock Cafe’s in any city usually have a few guitars and platinum records on the wall, but can always be expected to get taken up a notch in Vegas. In the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino you can find memorabilia like a drum set from Def Leppard, clothes from legends like Prince and Madonna, and special exhibits dedicated to Journey, Imagine Dragons, and others who’ve headlined at The Joint. It’s like walking through music's’ history.

Take a Photo With the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
A picture in front of this sign is probably one of the most classic of tourist attractions. The city recently built crosswalks and an expanded parking lot in the middle of the road which now makes it a lot easier to visit without getting hit by a car.
