You can take vans and shuttles, and you will be able to get to your hotel or the right terminal when you are traveling to the airport. If you have scheduled the shuttle in advance you can even reserve spots to get a lot of people to and from the airport pretty easily. The benefit is being able to transport a whole family with ease, but you also have to worry about other people being on the shuttle. If there are many people with many different stops it may take longer to get to your destination.

Taxis

You can pick up taxis anywhere, and there are normally many who are willing to take you to and from the airport. Once you land there is typically a line of passengers so one thing to keep in mind is how long you may be waiting.

Public Transportation

Trains and buses often come more frequently so you have a better chance of getting on the first one that arrives. This method allows you to save money and feel like a native to the city you're visiting. However, you should also keep in mind that you will need to keep track of the directions. Especially if you are in an unfamiliar place, public transportation may become overwhelming.

Limos And Sedans

You can rent a limo or sedan that is going to take you back and forth to the airport. Your ride will come with a driver who is knowledgeable about the area, and can take you anywhere you want to go. With this option, you are spending a little more than with a taxi, because you are paying for luxury and comfort. It is also better than a shuttle or public transportation because you will be dropped off directly in front of your destination and you bags will be handled by the driver.
